Founded on March 1, 1995, the Hellenic Electronic Center (HEC) is a volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan organization. Some of our activities on 2011 and continued into 2012 are listed below:
WW-II German Reparations petition – Over 160,000 signatures collected so far in support of WWII German Reparations to Greece.
The Parthenon Marbles Awareness Campaign – A collection of material and discussions for raising the awareness on the important issue for repatration of the Parthenon Marbles.
Nemea Games – Alongside other organizations, HEC helped the Nemea Games by expanding the participation in the Games, helping athletes and visitors, and helping raising contributions in the amount of 4,373 Euros.
Myki Library – We supported the Myki Library in Xanthi, with 2,783 Euros in computers, paid yearly library Internet connectivity connection, donation of books, etc.
Akritika Schools – We organized book collections and donated books.
Odysseas – We cooperated with 6 major organizations to co-ordinate Odysseas (Odysseus Project).
