British Army develops disinfectant spray capable of eliminating 99.99% of the Covid-19 virus in 60 seconds.

Called Virusend spray formula, the disinfectant has been unveiled at a time when the UK is working to contain a new wave of coronavirus infections. Developed by the innovation experts in the army, the spray is found to be effective in killing SARS-CoV-2. Virusend is supplied through the Pritchard Spray Technology-developed ‘Anyway Spray’ bottle, a recyclable system capable of spraying the formula over a wide surface area. The disinfectant will be available for purchase through online and brick-and-mortar stores, with an expanded roll-out currently being planned. Around 50,000 bottles of Virusend disinfectant are already being delivered across the country for military personnel working alongside the NHS at testing stations. It has already been used at Medway and Preston testing sites.
